U.K. VisitMar 03, 2012

“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire”.

We at Maharaja Aggarsain Adarsh Public School believe in enlightening our young minds with the virtues of modern scenario by making them understand the importance of spiritual well being, socio-emotional stability, confident personality and above all being globally acceptable citizen. Keeping this perspective in mind our school has designed and infused short and concise lessons on global perspective in their curriculum in partnership with Wade Decon High School, U.K with the insight of cognitive and holistic development of our future global leaders.
The whole art of teaching is only the art of awakening the natural curiosity of young minds for the purpose of satisfying it afterwards. With this view our team has premeditated their lessons with the mutual consent and acceptance by the team of Wade Decon High School. The lessons  provide ample opportunity of pragmatic learning and encourages  a child to explore, learn and present his or her viewpoint on social and global issues and come up with counteractive ideas. In this regard team of four teachers from Maharaja Aggarsain Adarsh Public School including head teacher Ms Mukta Misra, Deputy Head Ms Anjana Arora, IT head MS Tripta Sachdeva and English Teacher Ms Sonal Jain visited U.K on 3rd March 2012 to learn and share each other’s perspectives with the vision of bringing about  change in our future global leaders.

The main aim of the visit was to prepare our children to :
  •  Be confident, presentable and sensitive towards social and in the broader perspective global issues.
  • Appreciate and accept cross cultures and adjust well under the situation which is not always easy to cope up with.
  • Be a good decision maker at time of chaos or under adverse situations
  •  Be a torch bearer or role model for others
  •  Be emotionally attached with the underprivileged section of the society
  •  Be a problem solver than a problem creator
Our team returned back on 9th March 2012 with a whole lot of knowledge to foster the young lives and prepare the personality that is acceptable and noticeable worldwide. The School is highly gratified and thankful to British Council for providing such a wonderful exposure and experience to the teachers that will definitely enable the whole team to bring a change in the young lives.
